Hey Bubba,
Good to see you back. Very little going on around here outside of the political sewer that I avoid like the plague.
How about we try to revive the WCRM  when long distance travel again becomes possible.

Let’s chat my friend.

Well Holy Fu8K  EEK!  there's a few of you   posted up  I am totally surprised are still vertical (snerk)  Jim has motivated me to reply, soooo. I am still kicking around and apparently now living a block away from Jim, welcome to the neighborhood  Twofinger  I moved from the East kootenay to the West, got tired of working sold the house bought a smaller one closer to the cabin and the Whiskey table (for those that can still remember)it just came up in conversation the other day. My new vocation?  riding timbersleds, skiing in the winter, in the summer riding mostly dual sport and Adventure bikes, hanging out at the lake and playing with grandkids. I have been snooping around looking for an interesting more street oriented project  bike to keep me busy but nothing has jumped out at me yet. Any way I hope everyone is still hanging in there during these trying times, for those that have let their bikes sit way to long I am sure you can still visualize the joy that came from some of those early Saturday morning rides, the sun was out the air was crisp and clean, no traffic on your favorite twisty road. Come on nows a good time to pull them out of mothballs service them polish them and get them ready to reinvigorate you.
Cheers David D

We’ve just sold our home, which so many have visited and graced with your presence. Over 100 different individuals over the years btw.

Whooooo! Good luck with the move! Hopefully it goes smoothly for you. Yes, there were some really good times at your place in Castlegar. Good times, indeed. I love my 1,000 mile weekends just to come see you guys  Bigok

Oh my C.. it’s even worse. We are filling dumpster after dumpster because there is no place to donate or recycle.
Thanks for the pics.  I recall your first ride here. Karina was a little alarmed as you stepped out of your riding gear. Since then, we always refer to you as my internet girlfriend.

Jim, I hope the new home in Trail is to your liking. Congrats. Moving is hard enough, I cannot fathom how much more of a burden it would be during this current situation.

Dave, congratulations in your retirement. That sled looks like fun!

Let’s chat my friend.

There is at least talk of relaxing restrictions although when and to what degree is anyone’s guess. Early antibody data suggest that there are 50 times more showing antibodies than confirmed cases, but for the U.S. that only a bit over 1.5 million - not much herd immunity there, so what happens with fewer restrictions will be interesting. Sweden seems to be doing ok so far.
I’m ready to ride as soon as it’s allowed if it appears to be safe, but a my age I should be a bit careful.
We’ve been in the same house for fifty years so even thinking about a move to a smaller place is scary. You must be making some really hard choices.

Welcome back Bubba!
Good to see many of you still kicking around!
I look forward to a resurrected Banff ride or then WCRM.
I’m still crunching thousands of Km on the bikes.
Managed to get out yesterday on the famous Italian Princess!
Looking forward to a trip to Trail.

My first time checking in here in a long time and very happy to find this thread. Good to see lots of familiar names/user names. I hope all are doing well. And welcome back Bubba/Jim.

I'm wondering if we will be able to do any trips this year. I had one planned that included the U.S. That won't happen now, but I like to think that a Canadian trip might still be possible in late summer or fall. I suppose that one benefit would be that there will likely be way fewer vehicles on the road.

HEY! Motorcycle people!!! Nice to see some familiar names! It's May, and I am not riding yet for the first time in decades. What a crazy year! Whatever the event turns out to be, I am in! I am planning to *finally* license the Norge this coming week. Woohoo!

Dean! Ho are ya! Hope you get that Norge out soon. I just had an overhaul done on the Sprint. Had to wait a month because Triumph shipped the wrong valve cover gasket, TWICE! Been getting out for short rips around town every couple of days for a couple of weeks now. Nice to throw a leg over again.

Once the government clarifies what can open when, I definitely want to get some longer rides in Wink
