Anyone going to buy new during this Coronavirus time?

I did. Not a two wheeler, but I did sell the Harley and purchase this 2020 Can Am Ryker Rally back in mid July. Very different from my usual two wheel bikes. This has been a lot of fun with no regrets, something I was concerned about since I've never had any experience with anything like this before. I've been setting it up for long distance trips by adding luggage, Zumo GPS, drink holder, cruise control, windscreen, upgraded the sway bar and end links to eliminate the twitchyness at high speeds, and a few other accessories. I've really come to like the adjustability of the handlebars, footpegs and brake pedal that allows me to stretch out on long rides. I've since also sold the Moto Guzzi Griso, thinning it down to just two machines, the Ryker and the Kawasaki.

Cool. Wife wants one now that she has difficultly holding up a bike. She's been casually looking for an RT or F3 because she has to have the goodies and won't consider adding to a Ryker.

In this area the used motorcycle market is booming as it is a sellers market.

On one trip to Fla, a fellow rider let me try out his original African Twin. Fun for short shots.

Nah, its not a motorcycle. I believe the question was, Anyone going to buy new during this Coronavirus time? Not anyone going to buy a new motorcycle during this Coronavirus time? I thought this would help break the monotony here. After all, this place could use a little more activity to make it a little more interesting.

Yes, and thank you for posting.  Bigok

There are some people  Rolleyes who like to stir the pot because that's what's they consider "activity".
The three wheeled contraptions (motorcycle? car? Reliant Robin?) don't do much for me, but I can fully understand why someone would choose one. And hey, if it gets you out and enjoying life, then even better!

Agreed. I hope my wife gets one so we can ride together again.

After I win the lottery, I'll get a Slingshot to go with it.

I'll always own at least one two wheeler, because as you all already know, nothing stir's the soul better. Its just that after riding for 40 years, and owning just about as many bikes, I was in search of a different riding experience. The Ryker turned out to be it. I was intrigued with them when they first came out last year, (I think it was the low sportier compact look & being shaft drive, compared to the bigger, slower, belt drive Spyders), But I had four bikes in the garage and no room for another machine. So that thought sit on the back burner. It took me a year to pull the trigger on this but once I decided to sell two of the bikes, (the Harley & the Griso) I went for it. Since I like to trail ride, I decided to kept the Kawasaki.

I’d love to ride one just to see what it’s like.

My sister lives in Lake Suzy - although we're not getting along right now (estate/inheritance thing). If things smooth out and I come for a visit, I would like to try it too.
