I just replaced my damned battery powered weed eater with a 2-stroke Husqvarna, now yard work has me giddy like a school girl. My wife doesn't get it.

It's loud, but honestly not any worse than my electric weedeater. People often claim their electric trimmers are really quiet, but mine (a Ryobi) was loud AF.

I prefer 4 stroke yard equipment
For the noise
I just couldn’t find one where I live and I needed something quick. 2 stroke edger is pretty sweet.
Has me wanting another old school dirt bike

4-stroke trimmers are expensive and hard to find. I already keep a jug of pre-mix around for my chainsaw, but it took me a year to go through one gallon. I figured adding the 2-stroke trimmer would help me burn through the pre-mix faster to keep it fresh.

I just buy the pre mix stuff at the big box stores
