LOL -- at least you got out!!! I haven't been on dirt in years!!! Did go kayak camping this weekend though. Did you get her going again? or have to get the truck?

It never even stopped running. I got really lucky. I pulled the clutch in and got it upright as quickly as I could.

It's a good place to retire. Job opportunities can be crap but the cost of living is relatively low. The politicians routinely run big business out of the state by offering incentives to move there and then reneging on them.

Purportedly, Tulsa and Austin are the two finalists for the new Tesla plant. I predict they'll pick Austin.

Tesla's official comment was NV or TX and that's as far as it went (publicly). I expect that ALL big businesses remember what OK did to GM with their reneged tax incentives.

It was a supreme court ruling that the tax incentives violated the state constitution. I wonder if anything has changed since then?
My dad had a lawsuit against the city we lived in regarding utility services to a development that he was building. The case made it all the way to the state supreme court. Dad won. The city jacked with him from then on until the day he died.
