Lisa had a Kia Sportage (the poor man's version of the Sorrento). It was a nice, comfortable ride, very reliable, but had a gutless engine with horrible fuel mileage. Kia got sued over false mileage claims. Buyers received court awarded penalties for 2010 models and newer. Of course, hers was a 2009. She got rear-ended and totaled it a couple years ago. It still had less than 100k miles.

It could be a horror novel.  Instead of Christine, call it Karen.  Both spawns of Hell but the latter is more of chronic annoyance and disappointment than blood and death.
