I did some riding on the FJ-09 this weekend. The 450L never left the garage.

I did a short ride along the local highways and turnpikes Saturday morning since the weather was an incredible 69° and low humidity. This just doesn't happen in Oklahoma August. I had a bunch of stuff to do so I only rode about fifty miles.

Today (Sunday), I did a much longer ride through northeastern Oklahoma and northwestern Arkansas. I got caught in our usual August pop-up storms so I ended up putting the camera away and only got a few pic's.

The old WPA school building at Evansville, AR. Now the fire department.

The overlook at Natural Dam, AR. I had been to Natural Dam many times but never knew this overlook was there until a buddy posted it about a year ago.

Dinosaurs in Mountainberg, AR.

I sent this selfie to my grandson since he likes dinos. Daughter said he was scared for me. I said it was a good thing it was fenced.

Fayetteville has some cool military museums.

It was a good ride despite the rain.

Yeah, I always check the top speed as well.        Gives us good bikers a bad name.

Me and my buddy Steve have been talking about going to North Western Arkansas in September to visit a Friend that moved there from Colorado. Not a for sure thing but if we decide to make it happen then we will have to visit Jay!!!

Nice. Been to most of those places (but the WPA place). My grandparents' home town (Alva - up in NW OK) has a bunch of WPA stuff. Even stamped into the sidewalks all over town.

Been there a few times. We used to ride the dunes a lot.

It was on the turnpike, no one even notices.

You guys are welcome to spend the night, if you need/want to. Our extra bedroom is just a twin though so one of you will have to take the couch or air bed in the living room. Lisa is an excellent cook too but you'll have to eat Okie food.

I might even go ride with you for a day.

Very nice, thanks. We usually camp out so a bed on the floor is an upgrade to us!
