STS Turn Signal System

Has anyone had experience with the ST2, smart turn signal system?

Couple of friends of mine have installed it and love it.  Is a little complex to install it and a few modifications had to be made to the kit, not a true plug and play, but I think anyone with some electrical/mechanical experience should be able to do it.

The value of the system seems debatable.

I went with Skene Lights and they are additional lights.  Don’t auto flash, but once you’re in the turn, the flasher is largely irrelevant.  The signals are to warn people before you turn, not while turning.  I have a decelerometer function.  I won’t know how well it works until I have someone behind me watching my lights.  It seems to only kick in on hard decelerations (dropping two gears and closed throttle), so I don’t know how useful it will prove to be.
