My buddy Steve from Colorado that I have written about is in the process of moving to New Mexico. He finally sold his cabin and has to move here in two weeks. He needs help getting his NINE motorcycles down here. I am trying to get a couple of buddies to drive with us back to Colorado and we can all ride a bike back here. Those kinds of things are so much fun for me. What's better than that? Of course, WARM gear will be required.
His FJR1300 is here so other picks:
Hayabusa
GSXR1000
Suzuki BKing
Victory Vision
Gold Wing
Triumph Rocket Three
Suzuki M109
Ducati Diavel
Your choice!!!

We are on the way back to Colorado now. I will ride his Victory Vision back. We have figured out how to get all bikes down here but two. His Vision and Gold Wing. I wanted to ride the Vision so that will be this trip. Looks like we will be going back to Colorado on Thursday and I will ride his Gold Wing back then. No way did I want to ride his Ducati or GSXR back. Not my idea of long distance motorcycles!

Look what I woke up to! Shirt sleeve weather for the motorcycle brothers up North of the border. Of course, most of those Canadians don't have cell service or civilized amenities!! Since this is from an SD card you must be signed in to view.

Rode to work Monday and Tuesday, now for the rest of the week it looks like 4 wheels. Predicting cold rain with a little frozen mixed in, but I don't trust weather forecasters that well. They are pretty good on what will happen, just not so good on where and when.
I hate cold and winter more and more the older I get!

Got into the 30s a couple of nights this week. Thankfully it recovered into the 50s/60s during the day. Not for much longer though. Soon we'll be consistently in the 40s.

Here (in the good part of Oklahoma), it's been a warm fall overall. We were harvesting tomatoes up until Thanksgiving.

I'm excited because we got snow the other day! And there is more in the future!
Of course, it is all gone by now, but...there is hope for more.

I went out and measured the snow with a ruler. We got 3" and at 4:00p it was 90% gone.

70's here this week, near record highs. I took vacation days Tuesday and Wednesday and went riding. It's supposed to turn crappy tonight.

Cold rain today, in central OK, so I rode to work. Saturday night into Sunday morning they are saying a few inches of snow. Eastern part of the state may get spared.

I was planning on taking the FJ09 out for a back roads loop this afternoon, when the temps are supposed to be in the mid-forties. Seeing Jay's picture made me start thinking about the WR and exploring some woods instead.
After today, next 5 days are gonna have ice and snow, so may not be back on a bike till Friday's commute. Good news is I am off work after that until after the new years, and Debra wants to go down to Port Aransas for about a week. Take the WR and go beach riding!
