Today is supposed to be fairly clear but in the mid 40s. Me and a buddy are waiting to see if lunch will work out.

I'll take the FJR(because it is the only bike I have!) and pretend it is a 1290 Super Duke GT!!!!!!!!!!!

They do the same things only differently. One sport-tours in an excellent manner. The other one sport-tours in a hyper manner!!

Been a full week now since I have ridden one of my bikes. The weekend and next week they are predicting single digit temps and over a foot of snow. Tuesday morning predicting a low of -17F.  Normal highs are supposed to be in upper 50's, with lows around freezing.

Looks like another week before I will be able to ride. I'm not a happy camper!   Crazy

I've only been able to ride once since the middle of January and it was for only about 40 miles. I hate winter. I'll take 90° anyday.

Saturday night at midnight it is supposed to snow for twenty-four  hours here in the Albuquerque area!! Be miserable cold.

To help stabilize what little sanity I have left, I took the WR out for little spin this afternoon. Balmy 14 degrees. Only went about 10 miles total, 5 on trails.

Winter's hit Texas too. Sub freezing temps. No power for 3 days with a guess MAYBE another 3 before it's restored.

We got lucky here at the house, no power outage.  Our hot water line froze Sunday morning. We got it thawed after about five hours of shuffling heaters and moving insulation in the attic.

We had a one-hour outage at work Monday. The hourly workers got to go home. We salaried workers had to stay.

I hate winter, particularly this one.

I’ve been in our house long enough to know what needs to be done in real cold weather. Main thing is a drop light by the well holding tank and plumbing in the garage with a blanket over the top. That is the only plumbing I have to deal with.

Both at work and home had power shut off by the electric company to conserve it. Both only lasted
An hour at a time. Our union guys mostly stuck around, getting paid of course, until it came back on, then they left. Some weird way to game the contract. Since a few left earlier and we have to guarantee minimum 4 hours when they come in, a bunch left after 3 hours and got paid for 4. These guys can’t read and understand a procedure, but sure can digest their contract like a New York lawyer!

Been really windy and cold the last several days. But, the skies have been really beautiful. Can see for for miles. This morning is beautiful and about 30* right now. I have a few errands to run and I think I will gear up when I get back and go for a longer ride today.
