Thanks, am hopeful as they have a kit for the Busa which uses the same adapter setup as the Bandit for one of its lights. It looks like the only real question is if there is room in the fairing.

There is a lot of stuff that is interchangeable between the hayabusa and bandit.

I expect to order the kit tomorrow. Actually spoke to the owner of the company and asked if I could return the opened kit if it did not fit. He said “absolutely!”

I am confident the bulbs will fit the housing as it appears that many bikes use an adapter for an H7 bulb. The question is if there is enough free space for the heatsink/cooling fan.

UPDATE!

 Very pleased with the results.

Aside from cutting the rubber covers, the kit is plug and play. The adaptor ring is indexed so you can orient the bulbs as needed. The low beam bulb needs the LEDs at 12 and 6. The high beam bulb should have them at 3 and 9.

Low beam is definitely improved; high beam is DAMN!





Pop the adaptor ring and spacer off and install them in the headlight housing.





Take the stock adaptor and connect it to the pig tail of the LED bulb.



The bulbs have a large heatsink so the rubber seal does not fit without major trimming. Given that the bulbs are waterproof and pretty well tucked up in the fairing, I do not believe it will be an issue.

Thankfully, the GEN3 stock headlights are way better then the GEN2 ones were; even with upgrades to the GEN2. The GEN3 headlights were adequate, better with Silverstar bulbs in stalled, but as half of my commute is at O-dark thirty, I wanted even better lighting. Now I have it!

Update;

 Very happy with the lights. Way better illumination than the bike had before. I am also very pleased with the fact that the bulbs are designed correctly so they work well with the reflectors. The beam pattern does not change, has lots more illumination with much better reach.

Sounds like most people, the 5800K temp doesn't bother you.  I'm a little bothered by lights that are "too white" -- higher temp / more bluish -- and really wish that HIDs and LEDs would come in a 4300K or 4500K range instead of trending towards 6000K.

It is a bit of an adjustment going from incandescent to the LED, but I go tused to it rather quickly. That said, I would also prefer a low color temp bulb but these work very well.

So it's not just me....  I did the conversions because the lights are sooooo much better in terms of throw and intensity BUT the whiter light has some disadvantages and the manufacturers could easily tone down the color if it wasn't for the current fad for whiter / bluer tints.  

I am a little more afraid of something (deer) just outside the edge of the light with the whiter light --  there's more contrast between what you see vs don't see when your rods / low acuity vision / peripheral vison are blotted out / incapacitated due to the whiter / bluer light.
