There is a winter front moving through this weekend. Hopefully, for Blue, he gets a decent Saturday before it hits in the evening. Of course with weather, it's all a timing issue for when and where.

I called the insurance guy and he says it was fine to ride my bike the 1.2 miles to the office. I got insurance, rode over to a buddies and when I got home I had 50 miles on the bike. Don't have it registered/licensed yet but that ain't going to stop me from riding today. We're talking about going for a burger in the Jemez. That is about 100 mile round trip for me. If I get pulled over I will show Mr Law all my paperwork and hopefully he'll say have fun!!???
It is projected to start snowing here at about 4:00p today so the lunch run will be over by then.
There will be three of us. I will start a new Thread over in
Manufacturers Row
Other on my riding impressions of the bike. My first impressions are very good!

Have fun.
Just curious, why didn't you insure it before it arrived?

My insurance guy (with Allstate) tells me not to worry about it. Just let them know within a week or so of getting a new car or bike. When I officially own it my policy coverage will automatically apply to the new vehicle (I think because they insure my other bikes, cars, house...). Also had a couple cops I know tell me just to use my existing insurance verification for another vehicle and show the purchase document if pulled over.

Hmm, I have Allstate too. I just called them up and said, "I'm buying a new bike Saturday. Here's the numbers."
I just don't trust insurance companies anymore after State Farm screwed us over.

I called them last week when the bike was still on the truck. She said if the truck company has insurance not to worry. I do know that when you have other insurance with them that they cover you for a week or two when you get a different vehicle.
I went for a ride today with my two buddies(modified MT10 and modified S1000R) and they can't beat me up now!!! They had their way pretty easily when I rode my FJR1300 or before I sold my 1250 bandit. Not now!

OK, I got my new bike last Friday. Rode over to the MVD and got it registered. Has almost 200 miles on it. So, I am starting a new thread over in
Manufacturer Row
other
KTM for my impressions/etc.
