It was sunny and got up to 51° today so I went for a quick ride up the turnpike then back on Route 66 here in Oklahoma. I only made one stop. It was at Ed Galloway's Totem Pole Park off Route 66. The buildings and museum are closed for the winter so I couldn't go inside any of them.









It's a pretty neat place. I go by there every 2-3 years.

Mine has --- just not while I was paddling it or had the GPS going...  An old gf had a serious lead foot whenever she got to drive my cars - we got several tickets with boats on the roof...  

I also don't know what terminal velocity is for an average kayak -- but those guys going off huge waterfalls are probably doing 50mph at 100ft and at 300 feet they're potentially doing 100mph...

It's my old GPS Map76. It's a navigation gps so yeah, kayaking. It's waterpoof so I've used it rafting a few times. Now, I mostly use it on my streetbike. On the d-s, I use the Garmin 64st. The old one seems more reliable.

I've had the same model for a decade -- never thought to use it on the bike... I've tended to use a wiped older phone with preloaded maps -- it gives me a backup phone, camera, and gets charged while riding as opposed to needing to replace AA batteries.   Having a phone on the bike and another on my person also has advantages should we get separated...

Nice pictures as always. Yeah, I saw the MPH. I am now going to call the Okiehoma state patrol(?) and see if I can get a finder's fee for turning you in! The money will go towards helping with my new bike shipping costs.           Bigsmile

I just called the highway patrol hotline and informed them of a drug shipment coming through OKC disguised as motorcycle shipping. You won't be seeing your new bike until about August.  Cool
