I have a Delkevic slip on muffler from my 1250 Bandit. I think it is a 12 or 14 inch length. I am old school in that I like ROUND, chrome pipes!! So, the other day I sent Delkevic an email and they said yes they had a connector pipe for my slip on to adapt it to the GSX S1000.    Bigsmile    I get it today. I am going to take off the stock muffler(not bad really) and replace it with the hardware from Delkevic will allow me to reinstall the exhaust cover and 1250 Bandit muffler.

All done. I really like this look. A bit louder and is truly a straight through exhaust now. Have to be signed in to see picture.     Sad

A week or so back I put on the Givi top case support rack. I ain't never going to put a top case on any of my bikes. Now or ever. No offense intended to anyone. I bolted on the support rack and cut a rectangle piece of wire screen(?) and bolted that to the rack. Bingo. Takes five minutes to remove the luggage rack system in case I want to act like Marc Marquez at a track day or go to the drag strip to see how far into the 10s I can get at my elevation.

I really like this bike. I like it more with the added capabilities it has now.

Okay, since no one else will ask, why won't you ever have a top case?

Personally, I think they look hideous. But when I need the cargo capacity, I'll run one.

Well.............they do look hideous. I can take a large duffel bag and stuff it with whatever will fit in a box. Then, without the box I can be more flexible when carrying stuff. I just think I am better without one than with one. The only reason why a box could be considered better is for rain protection. But then I don't ride in the rain. I have been caught in the rain then I wrap stuff in trash bags that store away nicely.

Hideous they are -- BUT the laptops go in the topcase...  while I ride and the helmet goes in it when I stop.  The Triumph side cases can't hold a helmet.

Comparing the GSX to the Bandit 1250 is kinda like apples to oranges. The 1250 has way more torque down low. And it is much higher geared. So around town and cruising the Bandit is more comfortable and more relaxed. BUT, the Bandit can't be in the game if one wants to race a GSX. GSX HP is about 150 at 11,000 rpms and at least 50 lbs lighter. Bandit with a few simple mods is 110-120ish at 9,000 rpms.

I absolutely loved the Bandit and the only reason I sold mine last year is a dealer in Oklahoma had a new left over 2016 Bandit! I had been  talking to them and sold my Bandit and called the dealer the next day. They just sold the 2016!!!                EEK!

BLUE.     I really enjoyed looking at the work you have done to the GSX you have done a great job.

One thing though you know you are going to half to change your theme.
We could start a new slogan for your new bike.

First vote is.     ( GREY IS THE ONLY WAY )
Come on guys & gals chip in
