Yesterday, Friday, I decided to do my Memorial Day ride and not deal with the RVs, campers and Lookie Lous. I went 359 miles from 8:45a until 2:45p. Great weather and no traffic to speak of!! I took the scenic roads around the area North of Albuquerque. As the crows flies I probably didn't get more than 150 miles from my home.

That is one great day.  Thumbsup

And you get to stay at home as well.

Did you go through the very artistically challenged city of Santa Fe?   You know... the place where everything looks exactly the same?  Lol Bigsmile

1084 miles from Ukiah to Bend and back. Original route in earlier post, absolutely fabulous from Alturas to La Pine (very near my brothers place), one of the most beautiful rides I've ever been on.

Slabbed it home on 97 and 5. Hot (102-104) from Redding to Williams where I turned west on 20. I was pretty burned out when I got home Thursday evening.

Pictures too large to post. I may attach later.
