I have been given permission to go to the STN national meet in SD in June!  Thumbsup
Which one of you pie hounds wants to join me on the BBG attempt - out in one day back in 2?

It is 1683 miles according to S&T, and I plan to ride it straight through.

Windy - you want to stretch the legs on the FJR - I doubt the R6 would be your first choice.  You and I could settle the whole FJR ST Poll final on one grand ride. Lol

Are you suggesting that you still have "free will?"

That's a good one.  Lol Lol Lol

This weekend I will show some free will if you show up on free willy.

Figures.  Windblown pokes some good natured fun at our pie run (he better join us one day) and you respond with a 3500 mile Gilligan (3 day tour).   Crazy

Now, that being said, a 3500 mile Gilligan could be interesting. . ..   Bigok

And congrats for finally noticing my sig line and responding.   Lol

Let's do it - "The Gilligan from hell".
My only requirement is a stop to see the devils tower in WY and Mt. Rushmore.
3500+ miles for 2 pics - sounds like a great time.

EEK!  Wow! Now THAT"S a pie run!  Hail  I seriously doubt I have that kind of run in me. Heck I was just fishing for a 300-500 mile run.  Embarassment

I'll keep an eye out for what you all cook up for the weekend. Riding, even if a short run, beats tilling the garden.

I have access to some farm machinery should you need it.  Warning -- it is slow moving.    Lol

LOL.  Thumbsup

Hmmm, that gives me an idea... I wonder if riding the dirt bike through the garden would qualify as "Tilling".  Lol

If I have a bike at that point, I'll keep that in mind.

I'm hoping (in a far off starry-eyed pipe dreaming kind o way) to ride out to my brother's wedding in August. 50cc and back again anyone? A 3 day ride to SD and a flight to CA is more possible.

If there is pie we might show up to help you.
That would qualify as our big ride of the season so far. Sad

Now for the important stuff.

Got room for the me and "Baby Dumbo"?

Will there be pie?  (I've never ridden for pie)

Is this ride going past the end of the block?

Is the Temple of NVA fame the meeting spot?

Inquiring minds wanna know.

What's a block?

I'm not gonna meet at the North Vietnamese Army temple at 8 am! Are you Kwaaazee?

You gotta lose your mind in order to find it :P Especially with this crowd.

How long will you folks be going for? I've got an old POS land rover that needs a ton of work... and the garage is only available for a limited gime (not to mention the bike is, theoretically, sold).

I might be available around 11 for a short spin.  Looks like the big dogs are leaving early.  Stacey/others, care to join me for a sane, short spin?   Thumbsup
