After all sorts of confusion Sat. morning I finally made it to the Calgary bike show, it was actually very good this year.
 My favorites
Duc. ST3 Inlove Collen I talked to your mechanic they have almost all the deer hair out of your ST2  EEK!
         1200 Adventure
640 KTM ( a little to pricey though) I want to take this bike up the Dempster
         Truimph St and Tiger
          and the old KLR
Most disapointing
The new Concours, I thought I would like this bike but regardless of the functionality I don't think I would , when sitting on it it looks and feels like they used old fairing parts from the gone but not forgotten Kavalcade big and bulbous  the rear suspension is truly funky:thumbsdown:  go with the ZX14
The New KLR don't know why  just didn't think it needed new brakes lower suspension and snazier body work
K1200S just wasn't comfy for me
The Duke 990  (I actually think this bike is cool)   the minute I sat on it I felt like a hoodlum it is definetly built for tearing up the town and your liscence Lol

 EEK!

Judging by how you fit that Tiger Dave ... hmmm  ... ... oh dear ... my legs are longer than yours by a wee bit .. tell me a bit more about that riding position?  Please?

D, your son, looks way too comfortable on that BMW.

The Tuano makes Ralph look large on the other hand !! ... What an awesome bike the Tuano is !!

So ... come on ... best in show and all that !?

Hmmm ???     Twofinger Headscratch Razz

That 990 Superduke in black was just about the baddest looking thing there.
Agreed - total hoodlum cycle, just drop your license in the shredder 'cuz
you ain't gonna have it for long...  Crazy Crazy

Between that black superduke and the Duc 1098 I could easily
see 50K$ just disappearing in a heartbeat.   Inlove

I felt very comfortable on the tiger it certainly had more room than the Sprint. The Tiger may have been  a little more cramped than my Strom but not much.
The 800s Darren was sitting on is way to nice for him but that's what he figures he needs. The show stopper of course was the new Duc 1098 Inlove but definetly not the bike for me, I spent most of my time on the KTM's. Not much new and exciting coming from Honda or Yamaha. Suzuki had the new 1250 Bandit essentialy the same bike with a little more omph (and water)

The bike I would love to test ride; 1200 adventure, 640 KTM, Tiger, ST3, 990 Duke

Nope, and I own and like the V-Strom, though if you bought one I would be proud to park beside you so people would stop saying my Strom was ugly Lol
