Yeah, but the Concours had it's evolutionary beginning further back yet. It was a downstream model itself... (that simply hung on for dear life way past it's prime )
 
That's like saying my CBR1000RR was a descendent of the CB750K0. Sure, they all are in the way we're descended from pollywogs

Actually, two of them, No?  

Rode my connie last night.   I normally prefer a slimer, sexier, younger ride.  But nothing beats a more mature ride with a little more meat on her bones when it's a three dog night.
