Wow, site looks great!
I've been kinda MIA for the last year or so, had a nasty wreck and got off bikes for a bit. I'm going this afternoon to pic up my new baby, and getting back in the saddle again! In the mean time, I've also moved from Tomah to Stevens Point, took a job back in IT making a significant amount more money, the wife and I had a little girl(we now have a girl and a boy), and things are going great. The knee healed wonderfully. I still have some issues with my shoulder and wrist, but nothing to get excited about. Man, I missed being on 2 wheels!!
So, other than an amazing looking upgrade, whats up? Does R4 still do the Bosocobel meet every year?
Edit- Here she is, after hours of driving, and a freezing cold test ride.

Surely you know we can't answer your question until you at least tell us what bike you got (pics will be required for certification)...

How of me!! I should know better!
I'm going to pick it up tonight, it's a '94 Gixxer 1100. I got a screaming deal on it, so I couldn't pass it up.
I'll get pics of it this weekend, since it will be midnight before I get home, and I've got a crazy schedule all week.

I think mine was more of an issue of numerous wrecks, and realizing I needed to get my head out of my rear. I went down on the track in another event because of someone's neglegence behind me, then I hit a dear a month later and totaled my VFR. I went down hard on the left knee both times. I took it easy for a while, got back into it, and let life dictate how I would ride. I went to another track event, got headstrong and far too aggressive, and went down HARD. Actually damaged the same knee yet again, among other things.
I decided to get off while I was still alive, and sort out life first before I did something stupid. Now, things are better, my head is clear, and I finally regained the respect for the machine that I had completely lost. I have noticed I am quite reserved on the throttle compared to what I used to be. I borrow bikes from friends once in a while, and work on a few for them as well. There is one particular RC51 I have ridden numerous times, and I've noticed even on that one I'm holding back.
Given that, I can finally sit back and enjoy the ride again, safely.

Nice ride. The Ricky Racer graphics are really eye catching. Enjoy. If you come down here for any rides, we'll surely be able to recognize the bike. Welcome back to motorcycling and to STN.

It's funny, when I first looked at the pics, I was thinking that yellow HAD to go. After seeing it in person, and getting it home, I think it has kinda grown on me.
That, or the thought of trying to match that blue paint... They had it custom mixed by a guy, and he went out of business. I have a body shop friend who may be able to do it, but it's quite the color.
