Check this out! The army sold this land as surplus after World War Two.
 The same family has owned it since.
Now its a goat farm and the owners don't want no visitors!
 they used to allow people to wander around a long time ago.

I know the rule is 24 hours for the new location, but I am asking for a short extension as I will not have the new location pic until Sunday afternoon. It will be taken during an already planned ride and will be moving a good distance (for DE anyway).  Reazor, is this OK with you?  Everyone else?  With that asked, here is the grab shot from about 11 hours ago - did not have time to post it before leavign for work.

Here is the new location.  For a hint, it is mile marker 0 for a line laid in 1768 and this stone was placed at this spot in September, 1768, by John Beale Bordley.

I used to live a block away from a similar marker in Alexandria, VA. Interestingly enough that one which holds much more historical significance, wasn't in a big cage. It was just in the corner of someone's yard.

Seeing as the line it is part of forms the boundry between the states I think it qualifies as being in the state.

According to the 1994 boundary agreement between Delaware and Maryland, the surviving Survey stones continue to mark this portion of the two states’ common boundary line.

I checked the entire thread before posting that.....  then I checked 02's posts - that pic is in "random", not the tag thread.  Thanks for making me think I'd lost my mind, dude.

How did I get so close?....  I just kept those loud pipes singing and everyone let me do whatever I wanted!  Seriously, I just pulled up, took a few pics and left, that's all.

OK, so you ladies seem a bit timid to go get this one...  you want a new tag?  I have another option or two...
