Last time he was on the left coast he wound up in some sort of bondage apparatus.

I'll be doing a trip to Thunder Bay this May/June. If he's still in Illinois, when the roads clear up, I'll ride down and pick him up.

As a bonus, I've got at least one day at the drags before the trip. Chili ever go drag racing on a 9 second bike?

Can't offer a drag bike experience...but there's a spot for Chili going "Around the Lakes" over Memorial Day weekend...he can cross the Macinac Bridge and dip his toes in Lake Superior...

Well, Chili's out of my hands.

We took a little trip...
http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w11/fourstring/100_0675-1.jpg

to Denny's Farklemania for a tire change.
http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w11/fourstring/100_0695.jpg

Chili doesn't really get his hands dirty.  He mostly sat there, supervised, and drank all our beer.
http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w11/fourstring/100_0696.jpg

Seeker's got him now; ST.N contingent is heading south in early April to meet up with another ST.N contingent in Arkansas.  Chili will be along for the ride and getting the hell out of the frozen north.

*sniff*  Goodbye Chili.  You were more than a friend.  You were more like....

...like a plush doll that lived in my garage while I tried to figure out what to do with you.  Yeah, that's it.

it's not all fun and games. Chili has to do some work on the bike.

Next time you're around, I'm taking you to Uncle Paulie's.  And running for the hills.  Crazy

Nah, my garage is nicer than my house.  He didn't mind too much, and I forgot him less when I went for a ride.  Besides, he'd be an amputee by now with the cat in the house.

Attention ST.Ners and future Chili travel partners....

Yeah.... wassup with people not too familiar with Chili suddenly getting access and personal travel time with Chili?!? If everything goes well, that's great! I'm not pointing fingers at anyone who has recently been with Chili and taken good care of him. However, I'm afraid that in the future Chili may possibly end up in the hands of someone who may not respect the purpose of Chili, or even worse, someone who may be disrespectful of all that Chili and ST.N represents (such as tossing him from the top of a building with a plastic bag for a parachute?!?! wtf!!1!1!!!11)

Please, do not give Chili arbitrarily to anyone that asks. Consider who is asking for Chili, and if they have a distinct plan to travel with Chili. There should not be any "Chili was hanging out with me for 4 months because my bike was garaged for the winter."

Additionally, Chili MUST be in attendance at EVERY annual National meet. There are NO excuses for Chili to miss this. If you have Chili now, you better make sure he is on his way to the National before passing him to the next ST.Ner.

I second everything Todd said.  Thumbsup

Chili is a hardcore RIDER!! He carves the twisties with the sport-touring crowd and plays in the mud with the dirt bikes riders. He rides long distance with the IBA members and tours to uncharted destinations with the wanderlust riders. On the rare occasion when he’s not on a bike having a good time, you just might be lucky enough to catch sight of him eating like a king, drinking like a fish, or chasing women like teenage boy that just hit puberty.

The things Chili gets grumpy about is riding in cars, ape-hangers, when the beer runs out, being in one place for too long, roadside breakdowns, dudes in ass-less chaps, snowboarding, slippery pavement, being boxed-up and shipped somewhere, crashes, boring roads, oil discussions, scuba-diving, drivers talking on the cell phone while driving, political discussions, grid-lock traffic, base jumping, being left behind, working on anything but the next route, finishing his beer, or meal.

I hope this has enlightened peeps that didn’t know all this and I hope he makes it to the national. But above all, I certainly hope he competes in the 2009 IBR.  Smile
