The one in my pic is in Luray, VA. . . Ben Jones(Cooter) lives in the area.  There is another one Gatlinburg, TN and a 3rd in Nashville, TN.  He does a free concert at the Luray location from 1pm to 3pm every Saturday.

Changed the oil on Lisa's 650 Ninja. She let it go way too long.  Thumbsdown

Public service announcement from my mechanic: "f*ck Seafoam, throw that crap in the trash" (By which I mean, take it to your local fire station for proper disposal)

I had succumbed to internet voices who suggested that Seafoam can help with ethanol gumming issues Twofinger. Not so, says my former Kawasaki race mechanic, I just made things worse.

Lesson learned, Zed is back on the road and making indecent amounts of power again.

What straps are you using to secure the ninja?

Heavier duty tie downs, I don't know who makes them. The local shop had their name put on them. I'll have a closer look and see if it says anything.

I have the same set-up but my tie downs have been a headache since day one. I will look for a new set with better ratcheting mechanism.

DR650: I put in a new Uni-filter air filter and replaced the rear brake pads. The old filter was a Twin Air but was starting to tear.

Yesterday, I replaced the front brake pads on the FJ-09. 32k+ miles and still had the originals.

Washed the bavarian mama then applied some turtle wax to the parts that split the wind

I hate waxing plastic motorcycles!  Still waiting for my peg lowering parts to arrive

When I logged the brake pad change into my maintenance log, I noticed that I was overdue for an oil change. So I did that today. I need to do an Oilhed next and wash and wax this filthy thing. I've been doing my part to rid the world of the flying insect infestation.

Spark plugs Monday and adjusted my idle before my 400 mile ride yesterday, then mounted a passenger backrest today......https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180823/b368ca38c7f5b9282da08d6389f058c3.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180823/df4959b046c879c9f0e1bb52b5f64bfe.jpg

Curious, how did it make things worse? I have used it many time with good results.

Took it completely apart, down to bare frame.  Washed everything, had it painted!  Now working on more cleaning and restoring!
Not the main bike, of course.  This wee project machine.

No pics, but installed a Sargent seat and Zumo 396 GPS in conjunction with a Scala Rider Q-solo helmet set.

Washed the Bandit 1250. I hadn't ridden it since I got back from vacation with it a month and a half ago!! It still had Montana bugs on it!
