Started to change an exhaust gasket on the Buell X1, and managed to snap both studs on the front cylinder. There went the wonderful fall colours ride I had planned for today.
Even though I routinely deal with this sort of thing in my daily work, I am dropping it off at a local shop that I trust to get it fixed. Sometimes you just get fed up with working on stuff!

Yesterday, I put on new tires and brake pads on Lisa's Honda.
Do you think it needed pads yet?

I started both bikes and let them run for awhile. The weather has been really crappy since the first weekend in October and it seems like I never get to ride much anymore.
Lisa ran her two bikes too. My daughter's DR200 is the only one not on a tender and it wouldn't start.

Good job! I almost bought an FZ1 when I started looking at a second bike. I really like them.

Put new Dunlop GPR-300 tires on the 1250 Bandit. $162.00 total delivered to my door. Tried a set on the much heavier FJR1300 with no problems whatsoever.

Thanks for the heads up on these tires. I just ordered one for the back of my LeMans

Yesterday I still had Colorado gas in the FJR. I gave it the once over, changed the front tire, cleaned it real nice and filled it up with some fresh good gas. Took it for a 30 minute warm up ride. Ready for my next long distance trip.

What do you use for cleaning? I am very satisfied with this foam cleaner!

Put a new set of brake pads on the FJR1300. I sand papered the disc and cleaned up the wheel. I changed the final drive oil and cleaned the air filter. Ordered a new air filter. The bike is still running rich on the bottom end as explained in another post. Going to take it for a spin tomorrow. Must be signed in to see pictures.

Are those Shinko 244 tires? If so. what do you think of them?

Of the few brands of d-s tires I've tried, I like them the best for all-around use. And they are affordable. I recommend them.
I'm presently using a more aggressive Dunlop knobby on my 450L but I haven't ridden on them enough to say yet.

I oiled my chain, then did a 200+ mile ride dodging rain showers.

Hand guards a few days ago.
Today was a heavier rear spring from Cogent.
