New Tag.

http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t86/st2sam/IMG_0028_zpsqdkqfug0.jpg

It's the N. end of 247.

I have a few suggestions taggers.
Start at the southern end of 247 and just keep going. The last 30mi. are fun. When you reach 370 go East toward Hancock NY., then take 191 toward Honesdale. Very little traffic, lost of turns nice scenery. Heck, all the roads are nice, pave is ruff in some areas, but for me lack of traffic makes up for it. Thumbsup

Here is another picture I shot on the way home, not the tag but if you find it I'll buy you a beer. (bonus tag Smile)
http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t86/st2sam/IMG_0030_zpsbgohdwl6.jpg
(PM me if and when your tagging, I might be able to join you.)

Nah...don't want to hijack the thread. Perhaps if St2sam doesn't place the new tag too far away she and I will ride together to get it.  Wink

IMO not real far, it would (could) be a nice easy one day ride from SEPA..  Thumbsup

I found the township building, I found the church, I found the fire company (someone was having a BBQ), heck, I found the local tax collectors office.

I did not find no Friendship Grange.  Of course, I did not ask around Union Dale either.  I did find the tag

New tag - I intend to return here to - there's a BBQ in my future - have to find a subtle dry red - I'm thinking a 2009 Tempranillo, since I ain't getting no cold beer.

You took the right bike Skee.

The Friendship Grange is very close to Elk MT., in Union Dale.  Smile

Great choice on the new tag.
I might have to buy a pound or two of ground Buffalo for the grill. Thumbsup

New TAG.

It would be the North end of Rt.170..

http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t86/st2sam/IMG_0058_zpsftgwdbnx.jpg

Let me suggest starting at rt170 at rt6 and enjoy the ride.
Again, the best part is the last 15mi. or so. The pave is ruff in spots, however (IMO) the twists - turns and lack of traffic makes it a  Thumbsup...

Better than 247 south of 370?  That was pretty sweet.  Well suited to that big Honda of yours.

About the same, maybe a little tighter with more technical turns.
There are two off camber, with a drop off, blind left hand turns that'll make you go  w h o a  if your pushing it like I was. Embarassment
Be careful.

Tag - beautiful day for a ride.  I rode 170 south, so they were banked increasing radius right-handers.

While I was riding around - I do mean AROUND - check my track log - I saw some beautiful views of Elk Mt and found the garange.

Since we're on old buildings - I saw this on the Canadensis highway - new tag.

http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t86/st2sam/IMG_0061_zps5tcokeli.jpg

Sorry for the delay Skee taggers.
I moved it a little West just in case Chris is lurking.  Wink

It's located just outside (N. of) Benton, Rt487 on Fishingcreek. (duh)
Have fun, miles of great roads in that area.

Chilli gets a tag and keeps the game alive.

Beautiful day for a ride.  I had goosebumps  - thougt it was from not being on a bike for so long – but it was actually chilly early on in the hills.  If you know me, it wouldn’t be a ride without a covered bridge stop.  This is not the tag, just a wayside stop.

New tag – Lakeside Grange 1418  – moving it south.

I’ll put up some clues later.

OK – Here’s your clue – Be careful taking the photo.  I took 3 steps up the bank on the opposite side to stay off the road.  While traffic on this road is generally pretty well laid back, there might be some nutsy guy on 2 wheels railin’ the corner.  And it could be you!

This is one of my favorite areas to ride.  Worth the trip even if you’re not after the tag. Could more fun than PA 125.  Maybe I shouldn’t post that, but “this place is dead” anyway.

After you pass the tag, continue south on Tuscarora Mountain road.  Any road with the word mountain in it has to be good – Right? – and this one does not disappoint.  (If you are looking for gas, I always go into Tamaqua & turn south on 309.)  Otherwise, turn right (southwest) when you get to 209.

About 4 miles down the road, you'll see a sign on the right to Fast Frank’s Place (no relation).  If you turn left here, there are 3 knee-draggin' bends above town.  Turn left once you get  the stop sign at the top of the hill and continue south on New Philadelphia road to 443. (If you miss the sign, just stay on 209 and turn left in New Philadelphia.)  Once you get to the end – whichever way you’re traveling – I guarantee you’ll want to turn around and run the reverse direction.  I almost always do.

About halfway between Tuscarora Mountain and New Philadelphia roads, you’ll see a turn north to Brockton, Locust Lake and Mahanoy City.  JJ & friends nicknamed this the “goosebumps road”.  You’ll figure out why – as far as I know it doesn’t have a name – just a number.  Take a run all the way up to the windmills above Mahanoy City.

I beg to disagree.  I lived in that area for years.  I still ride through there on my way out.  There is no way I'd put Huffs Church or St Peters on par.  (The one south of 422 yes, but theres heavier traffic, not so much as the one east of 662.).  I used to ride the 345 to 82 loop and in between through French Creek after work.  It's a great run.  There are some better roads than those, like Sally Ann or Golden Key, but they are still not as fun IMO.

Maybe I'm spoiled, or bored, but I'm not convinced.

Maybe we need a lunch meet at the 901 Headscratch

Bonus picture, a great roads list in that area, thanks Skee.  Thumbsup

It's been a while since I've been on those roads and can't wait. I hope you enjoyed grabbing my tags.
My thought is placing the tag in an area with great roads is the whole idea of the game. This tag should be fun.
