Marquis de Lafayette visited these grounds, as did Samuel Adams, General Horatio Gates and Philip Livingston. This Histroic Inn stands on property included in the first land grant on the west bank of a large, well known river. The first metal-hulled steam vessel built in the United States took its maiden voyage from this Inn's shore. An inn has occupied this spot since at least 1780. And as a side note, their food is incredible.

The third picture is the view looking out from the porch of the Inn. There are some great state routes that run along the river and through some forests/mountains. There are also others that are twisty, twisty fun. Take the back way and you'll be rewarded with a nice fall ride, landscape, scenery, etc.

Yes sir. It is my primary bike between May and October. Did about 6,500 miles on it this summer. It would have been more but 'ole greenie was sharing seat time with my ZX-14. I absolutely love my zrex  

I trust you ride the wheels off of yours as well..?

The Grandview Road Chapel was also quite an impressive piece of architecture.

Punch - I thought you had picked up a R1100S Boxer Cup Replica over the summer - thought I remembered you stopping by my house on one.  Did you sell that bike already?

I believe I have been on the road for this new tag, but for the life of me I can't remember this formidable mansion/restaurant.  I would like to get over that way to check out a Guzzi dealer up 83, Europa Machina.  Too bad I won't have time soon, and the tag will probably be gone by that time.

Rince - That was my friend Tony. I think you have us confused. He lives in your neighborhood. However, sadly, that bike has been totaled so you won't be seeing it anymore. He is the same guy who has the 2007 Duc 1000S and now an '09 Versys.

The tag is off the beaten path a bit and the road dead ends. If you weren't going directly to the tag, you probably weren't down this precise road..unless of course you did a u-turn..

Thanks!  I'm in the game now, bud. LOL...my "wing" is still quite swollen and hurts like you know what   but its amazing what about 10 advil a day will do for you!  I'm icing it down right now. As you can imagine, my lovely bride is less than thrilled I am out riding already, but, eh, ya know...

Nice! I just got my rex this spring. Had 12k on it when I got it. 19k now. She's just a baby   I have three bikes, so the mileage gets sprinkled around pretty good.
