If you go DURING the snow you'll greatly reduce your odds of being bruced!  I thought about making a run at it today but I wouldn't be able to get it to its next spot I have planned in the allotted time. |

YO- PA taggers------be careful of the deer up in the Northeast area. It's strange.....I NEVER see deer after buck season ends.
This year is different for some reason. They are very active and I've had THREE NEAR MISSES with my Jeep in the past
24 hours.
you boys play careful. watch the gravel too. seeing a lot of that also up here, but
the roads actually looked pretty good today.

Spos'ta snow tamorra, better go git it Sammy.  Not a chance in hell, only hit low 20's today, I'm sure it stayed in the low teens up there. I'm think'in that tag is safe until we get our week or two long January thaw, that they never get up there! The ice from runoffs is all over the place and the salt residue, when following other cars you can actually see the salt cloud they kick up...  Good luck guys!  |

Air temp 24; wind speed 65mph; real feal wtf am I doing!!!! I guess the tag will be there until there is a freakishly warm day. It wasn't too bad once I slowed down to 40mph but that would have doubled my saddle time and it would be real dark before I got home. If it is going to be likethis for awhile (and I think it will) there should be snow on the roads so I won't even think about riding  |

Thanks Jer, not too cold today but the secondary roads were VERY dirty! You had to ride where car tracks were (left or right) as the middle of your lane was loaded with salt and cinders. A couple times I crossed over, felt like I was riding on ice. It ended up being a 185mi. day with mostly dirty slippery slimey roads but still great to get out for a ride! |
