What a nice day for a ride. Bike ran great and didn't seem to have any CARBON build up even in the high elevations not unlike those of SWITZERLAND if it were in AMERICA. Found this train station in a town where the richest man in PA once lived but it's named after someone else who never even set foot in it.

Happy Hunting.

PS: You are advised not to go here on a weekend unless you want to sit in traffic for a long time.

I think it's too early for Rince to head up there. He needs to wait a couple hours so that he can illuminate the picture with his headlight. Lol

This is true but knowing the location is eating him up. He will also do anything to show up Jeets.

If I am guessing right, I've maybe been there mountain biking?  No time to grab that one myself.  Someone move it west by the weekend, though - I actually have the whole weekend off, and if the weather is going to be nice (or at least not pouring buckets like yesterday) I might do another overnight moto-camping trip.

Well... somethings are just NOT meant to be....  I checked the thread 3 MINUTES after Silverhound posted up the new tag.. I was in my riding gear and out of the garage (what a nice evening) before 5:35pm..  Shot up the 663 to the Turnpike in Q-town...  and about 8 minutes later.. instead of getting a tag... the good ole Turnpike decided I needed a new back tire instead...(took this pic before I cut off the excess, and rubbed some sand on it)

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z311/JamminJere/100_4398.jpg

Didn't want to chance getting the tag, because I may be doing the same thing again in the dark.. I got off at Allentown and headed home.... Of course it didn't lose a pound on the way back (I love the TPMS on the C14) and I was feeling pretty smug about abandoning the tag.. Until I got to Half-Way house.. looked down the plug snotted out again.. and I was losing air... fairly quickly.. made it in the garage with 6psi showing..

Now I'm off to snag a new rear PR2..  AGAIN!@^%##

Nice Tag, Silverhound... and I had a good new one all picked out too... Dammit.. Wink

Well that just sucks but at least you made it home. I had an "unrepairable" flat on my Valk a couple years back and sat and waited for a tow service for almost six hours. It was a Sunday and I was about 60 miles from home. That blew.

There's a Cycle Gear shop right in Allentown, you could have picked up the PR2 and wore it around your waist on the way home.  Lol

Anyhow, the important thing is that you had a safe trip. Thumbsup

Ha... you never seen my waist!  Lol

I'd say this one was unrepairable... I had two big gummy worms in there and it only held for 30 miles or so.. but your right at least I made it into my garage without incident. I plugged it again and aired it up just so I can push it around to change it out when the tire gets here..

Smoker...
I"m checkin into that right now... I"m sure Gary has some...

Ok would someone let me in on this secret tire society thing going on here? Who's Gary-Murph-whoever and is this person a source for tires and other things bike related? I don't need tires right now but I expect I will at some point (based on prior experience with the rubber just not staying on the tires indefinitely) and the last time I went tire shopping in my area for a PR2 for my former Blackbird it was a nightmare.

One dealership didn't have a clue as to the difference between a PR and PR2 and when I did finally buy the tire at Cycle Gear I had to show "techboy" how to use the mounting machine and balancer so he didn't completely trash my rim.  Crazy

Please share with the group. Lol

Man, it sounds like a few folks are having trouble with their rides.  I have to bring my FJR to the shop tomorrow because the starter kicks on when the bars are locked in the right-most position.  I think it has something to do with the ignition switch recall that was done but I guess not properly.
