Before February ends we should have a M.A.C.K. meet. So here's the deal.

Sunday February 18, 2007
10am

Air Force reserve base, on college ave. The south side of Mitchell Feild.

I think that is the 128th, but could be wrong.

I couldn't get around to the side without getting very close to the gate. And I don't think the people with the guns at the gate would like it very much.

Not only was it great to see everybody, it was nice to know that our presence offended the sensebilities of at least a few of the people who came in there.  Bigsmile

I think a nice summer run should begin there this season......... I'll have my camera ready for those who are simply appalled by

Yes, for starters- Then there was the group sitting near you and your wife. One of them kept looking us all over. I was seriously tempted to sit by them and start a conversation. Maybe something about Santayana, just to throw them off.

I think we should have a ride begin there, or at least a meet in warmer weather when we can fill the parking lot with bikes. Then really mess with them by being nice and conversational. Its one of my favorite things to do to people who are expecting the stereotypical lowlifes. The bluebloods rarely are capable of wrapping their brains around the fact that we arent who they think we are and it can be fun to watch.
