This is to answer some of the most common questions concerning the National and what's needed to hold the event

Date The meet is in June, the third Tuesday and Wednesday. This gives attendees a full 9 days of travel time, sandwiching the meet between two weekends.

Location The National is on a 4 year rotating location schedule
2009 - Colorado (it was in Gunnison, but no definitive town is set)
2010 - Eastern USA (floating location)
2011 - Custer, South Dakota
2012 - Eureka, Arkansas

Organizers The event is organized by volunteer members of the forum, either one person or a group .The organizer(s) need to make 3 things happen for the event:

1) Lodging for the group - find an adequately-sized motel within walking distance of dinner/beer. A nearby campground is also appreciated.
2) A organized dinner for Tuesday and/or Wednesday night - catered meals are great, but the pre-payment can be a hassle. Best to just find a big restaurant that can take us all in
3) A shirt for the event - there are a couple of members on the site who can design/print shirts. This may or may not happen based on interest and costs.

Its up to us, the members of STN, to make a National happen
