I want to try other tires, but I keep coming back to the Michelins, three sets in a row now and I'm gonna need new ones this spring.
The Bridgestone BT020s (and Dunlop D220s) were good tires and wore like iron, at least 10K from a set, but the triangular front tire was not as suited to my riding style as the round profile of the Michelin (and old Metzeler Z4).

YMMV

I'm in the same situation.  I currently ride on Avon Storms and will be needing new tires soon.  I'm willing to try something different.  Since tire companies are constantly improving their products, it doesn't hurt to re-evaluate. I'm not sure if I will ever buy a dual-compound tire again.  The BT021's I bought (based on advertisement) was a BIG mistake.  I would rather choose based on riders experience.

the METZELER Z6 ROADTEC seem to work well but the lack of warning from good to cord showing will probably keep me from buying another set. PR2s do seem to work well with my riding style (mostly slab to and from work with some fun stuff on the weekends )
So PR2s will remain my tire of choice for the FZ1 and FJR for the time being.

The Road Attacks are the only ST tire's I've owned/ridden, but they work with my Ace better than the Sport tire's I've had before (M1's and Z3's).

I've got a PR front and PR2 rear on right now.  The PR2 has 6000 mi on it, has at least 3000mi of wear left, and grips very well in the corners.

Thanks to everyone responding to this Poll.  Based on your votes, I purchased the PR2ís from Motorcycle Superstore.  No tax and no shipping costs.  I couldn't believe the cost based on the last time I tried to price them (reason why purchased the Avon Storms).  The decrease in price is significant.

Have any of you noticed the price of Motorcycle tires lately?  The time to buy is now.  Even though I donít need to change mine out for another 6 months, I couldnít pass up the opportunity to rat-hole a set.

You bought them through the ST.N store...right?  Lol

http://astore.amazon.com/sporttourinet-20/detail/B001CDCAPC

They ship from (you guessed it)  Motorcycle Superstore.
