I was all ready w/ a relay and stebel horn but see that my r1100rs has a stock horn relay.
I'm wondering if
1) I just hook up the stebel to the existing wires ...easiest for my lazy arse.
2) Use the existing wires at stock horn to trigger another relay and run new wires to the Stebel....2 relays????
3) Run thicker wires on stock relay to stebel...so much work the double relay (#2) sounds better.

Having done this on my old RSL, yes, you can hook up directly to the RS horn wires, no problem.  The real issue is on the new CANBUS bikes.

Final note, you will get a bit more power to the horn if you do the #3 mount as you've mentioned, however given that the Stebel is that much louder than stock it begs the question "why" in the first place.
