Oh, sure. Horex makes 'em for the wealthy collector crowd. We'll never see one on the road outside of a Concours d'Elegance somewhere. Still cool, though. And it appeals to me in a way that a $45k chopper never will.

Have you seen a lot of V6 bike before? For that reason alone I find it pretty interesting. Plus the 200hp figure. Stylistically it is not very exciting, but that is the wolf in sheep's clothing thing.

Oh, come on. it costs far, far more to tool up a factory full of high-speed production equipment, so you can churn out CBRs by the thousands, than it does to set up a little one-off shop dependent on expensive hand labour...believe me, most "boutique" builders would love to produce "affordable stuff" in quantity, but they can't afford to. A good case in point: sure, Harley shut down Buell, but keep in mind that Buell actively seeked the original merger with H-D; it was H-D's money that allowed Buell to move out of a converted barn and into a proper production facility, and that allowed Buell to bring prices into line and become competetive in the market. If Buell hadn't sold out to H-D, the company probably wouldn't have survived the 25 years it did (and it would be doing even better now, if not for a certain short-sighted, hard-nosed CEO...).

It's a race to see which manufacturer reaches the market first...Horex or Motus?
The Motus will take as long to get to Yurp as the Exwhore will take to get to the States, which is awesome, b/c I'd like to have both.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I'd like to go buy a lotto ticket.

Horex VR6 Classic
Horex VR6 Individual
The Horex VR6 Roadster
the Roadster looks like a Griso with no jugs from the back. I think they all look good.

Seems like an inline six would make a nice touring bike.
It would be nice to see a faired touring version, even though the price is a bit too high.

It will be interesting to see where they will fit and what the direction/goal will be.

It's actually a very narrow 15 degree V configuration, almost inline.
The looks have definitely grown on me, though I do wish the tail section were a little less droopy looking.

Horex was founded nearly a hundred years ago.
The new bike has a very different engine/exhaust noise. I wish them well.

From the Wikipedia
"narrow-angle, six-cylinder supercharged engine"
"aluminum bridge frame with a steel steering head forms the chassis. A single swing arm controls the rear wheel, while the engine power is transferred by a belt drive system."
Hell, sounds good so far

Also - the article fails to mention the incredible price tag.
Sweet bike though.

I read in BIKE magazine where Horex has gone into "administratorship" or sumthin like that/
Whatever it is it sounds a lot like bankruptcy
