Had a few older bikes that got 50mpg.. but most of my more recent bikes
got low 30s with the exception of this FJR. It gets over 40mpg consistently.

Worst bike for mpg I ever rode was my Superhawk. Holy hell that thing
was terrible on gas. I don't think I ever got better than 25mpg on that
pig. But it sure was fun!

Didn't vote because the question is a little vague. UK/US gallons?

Regardless, 04 FJR averages about 48mpg with a best of 62.

I bought a 94 Ninja 2-fitty a few weeks ago, that lil bitch, combined is doing 74mpg, and that's with me running the ever lovin' piss out of it.

US gallons.  I'm sure there is a conversion.

Handiest site EVER: www.onlineconversion.com

Picked up a brand spanking new Honda CBR250RA on Saturday morning. Filled it up. 306km later I filled it up again. It took 9.5 liters for 32 km/l or 90 mpg! (UK!) Not babying it either, just kept the revs below 7G's.

KICKASS little bike. Ninja 250 is for sale!

Just under 50 on my FZ6. No doubt the bike could do better, but not with me riding it.  Bigsmile

I get 47 with my FJR, which is amazing since that was about what I was getting with my V star.

Cooool!

Maybe I just don't get it. Why would knowing that 22.6% of respondents get 35-40mpg be helpful?  Headscratch

Curiosity? A point of discussion?

It was nice of you to resurrect a thread that no one has posted in since September just to ask why anyone would bother to post in it. Now we can start the conversation all over again. Thumbsup
