Many thanks epconde and the NE riders crew.
I will be using this resource. The Google routes are well done and easy to understand, and I appreciate the inclusion of scenic spots and good mountain climbs.

Any changes in the ride schedule or routes in light of the road and town damage after Hurricane Irene?
Some friends and myself were going to ride that area the following week and were concerned about road closures, etc.
Any insight would be appreciated.

Avoid Southern and central Vermont and the Catskills area of Eastern NY. The Kancamaugus Highway is closed in New Hampshire, but the rest of New England and Eastern NY is doing well.

Yep, thanks to Irene I was stuck in Bethel, VT, for 2 days. Had to do some serious detours to make it outta there.
Then got as far as Lincoln, NH, and found out that Kanc was closed!! Oh well, gave me chance to see Lakes Area south of Lincoln.
These are GREAT routes. Thanks!!!

Yes, VT is very tough to ride in right now. There is a lot of great riding south of the Kanc!

I have made a lot of progress making and adding videos to the "Best of New England" Roads site. Many of the roads listed now have a video so that you can see the road before you ride it:
http://www.newenglandriders.org/BestOfNewEngland/BestRoads/MABestRoads.htm
I have also slowly begun adding photos to the Best Scenic Views pages:
http://www.newenglandriders.org/BestOfNewEngland/BestViews/MABestViews.htm
It appears that this will take a few years to complete. If anyone has a video or photo that they would like to donate to the cause, it would be greatly appreciated.
Videos have also been added to the Rides Page for those rides that I have lead:

I have added sections for Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Central & Western New York. I would be very grateful for great road suggestions, restaurants, scenic views, things to see, and places to stay. The entire site is free and ad free and is our way of giving back to fellow motorcyclists.
