I got myself a 2010 LED taillight for Christmas - I think it looks a lot better with the LED white lenses on the turn signals than the 2009 red lens does.

I'd like to know where that clear LED light came from, as well.
Could it be XB Lights?

Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't get that question was directed to me. No, the tail light, as I mentioned, is a stock 2010 Buell tail light. If you zoom in you can see the "Buell" in the lens at the top center. So "where" was the local Harley dealer. "How much" was $58. Can't beat that!

If you are thinking about an XB light I would do it. Rob does great work and is very nice to deal with. It can take a while to get your light but it is worth it.

My dealer actually had one in stock, I didn't believe it. Ten days to get a friggin' oil filter, and he has an uncommon part for a model year they didn't even produce.
Anyway, you'll also need three male spade connectors, crimp-on, 16-22 gauge, to replace the plug on the light and mate up with the wiring harness. Buy four so you can screw one up.

For Firebolts and other bikes that have fender eliminators with a slot cut to get licence plate illumination from the taillight you also need part number Y0514.7AA (licence plate illumination) and the bulb. They wouldn't cost much. They slot into the bottom of the main LED unit.

Yeah, those are $15. If anyone needs one, please contact me first - I bought that as well and I don't need it.

the blast. could have been much better looking but it did what it was suppose to do and it did it well. its a shame erik buell decided to scrap the blast. If he ever builds production motorcycles again he should reintroduce the blast.
