I'm guessing it is the Micron full exhaust system in the bike, which has the flattened area up front to build up backgpressure and increase torque?

Dude your what happend to your front header?  It looks flattened at the bend - that has got to add major restriction, doesn't it?

They must have damaged it when they coated it.  Lol

That system is incredible.  With the new map, the bike will now sit on 1700 rpm without belt snatching, and then accelerate smoothly all the way out without lag.  I can forgive the odd flat bit in the decoration.

Buell needs to do something about the blueing of the stock pipes....

I don't mind the blueing at all...shows the bike is getting ridden!

I like blued pipes!  It's not like it's something bad like rust, it shows that the bike is being used.  I dunno, to me it gives it character.

Bad coating goes brown like bad rust.  You are much better of with blue than with a bad silver coat.

Ohhhhhhhhhhh yeah we have bugs alright.
I gave up wearing my open face at sunset as the blow flies splatter a lot when they are full of maggots.  Shrug
Here she is as in her current look.

Remember going to Albury on the dairy routes, Aussie.  When you got there your bike bike looked ready for an entomology lesson.  You still managed to shine it overnight.

I had pulled into a Harley place one morning, for a small bit of warranty service; the dealership is 8 hours ride from home (actually, I'd taken two days going the scenic route) and my bike was completely covered with bugs.

A guy pulls up on his hardtail custom chopper, complete with incredible (and expensive!) paint, and not one bug on it.  While waiting for the dealer to open up, I started chatting with this guy, and commented on how clean his bike was.  He looks at mine, and says, "Yeah, but yours is getting ridden!"

I do try to clean my bike every now and then, but I never seem to get around to all the nooks and crannies around the front engine mount and the lower fork tripleclamp, etc...

And just for fun, here's a pic I took just recently:

Beautiful looking area there.
If thats the way you went to the dealer then I can understand you taking 2 days.
