Later model bolt has about a litre more, and a fuel light that is more consistent.

Stock on the highway (any speed) I was getting 245 to the light, could push to 285 before refuling.  Around town was 200.

With the Micron I got 220 around town to the light.  On the highway 245 - 260 to the light.

When I geared it up I still get 220 around town, but then I'd get up to 280 km to the light.  Best I went to 315 km on 13.4 litres, so almost a litre left.  I've been consistently over 300 km on a tank on the highway.  So that is high 40s per US gallon.

It's the XT.  The X doesn't come in Red for 09.  I photo shopped the fender, liked it, so I got one and put it and the headlight guard on.  Helps reflect it's 'Adventure Sport Touring' designation to those that don't know it and.... like I said, I like the looks.

Got my licence back after suspension, so I went to a track day to learn how to ride again.  As you can see I'm no hot lap rider; just enjoying myself again.

I didn't bother to change from the dropped pegs which was a mistake, I was forever lifting my foot up and losing time onto the straights.  The extra 10 HP that the old Micron had would have been nice, but I'm not sure I would have been up too much more than I had.
