Okay, here's the deal.  I was an especially good player at work.  They blew my mind and gave me a choice of a few ways to use $500.  The choices they gave me are:

    Bass Pro

    American Airlines

    Southwest Airlines

    Gaylord Hotels

    Great Wolf Lodge

    Marriot Hotel

    Apple Store

    Massage Envy

Now, I can think of good stuff at all but one of those places, but unfortunately I'm way into mountain biking and photography.  In the categories here, I'd love to get my hands on:

A quality wide angle lens (Nikon compatible)

A VERY nice tripod (though this isn't so much of a wanted item)

A late model Santa Cruz Superlight/Nomad/Heckler frame (open to other manufacturers)

I'm open to other stuff too though; just let me know what you have.  I'm not particularly a gun guy, but if you have some amazing deal... maybe.

(Dr. Evil voice) No.  No, I can't back that up.

The Massage Envy places are some day spa chain thing.  It is of zero interest to me.

The Gaylord hotel (yeah, I can't believe anyone used that name either) is a run of 4 hotels in Texas.  They are supposed to be ultra-nice; I believe the presidents and really important folks stay there when they're in town.  Our company holds the annual Christmas parties here (yeah, our company is awesome and they still call it CHRISTMAS... just had to throw props to them for that).  I presume we got a good deal for that particular award.  Not really sure why anyone local would want to stay in one, but... whatever.

Oh!  I almost forgot about this thread.  I wound up trading it for an older Yeti 575 frame.  Sweet ride!  A bit of a pig by cutting edge standards but I like slightly overbuilt and very well engineered frames.  It is a beautiful piece of American made goodness (born in Golden; Colorado).  I'll have to post pics.  In fact, it is in the back of my truck, ready to hit the trails right now!
