Hey guys,

I know that some of you guys on here have heard about us and our HBC100 Helmet Communication but I would like to pop my head in here and officially introduce myself and my company.

My name is Andy and I work for BITwave USA. We are launching the UCLEAR HBC100 Bluetooth Helmet Communicator.

This is the industry's first Boomless microphone helmet communicator. This is a Bluetooth Helmet Communication system that cancels environment noise while picking up on your voice.

We are diligently working to build our brand and create some buzz around our HBC100 Helmet Communicator. We are a small company (but growing quickly) and we are going to rely on sites like the Sport-Touring forum for product feedback and reviews.

You can check out our website at:
www.uclear-digital.com

or find us on Facebook
http://www.facebook.com/pages/UClear/196177683740467

or on Amazon
http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=bl_sr_wireless?_encoding=UTF8&node=2335752011&field-brandtextbin=UClear

If any one has any questions, feel free to contact my at [email protected]

Thanks

Interesting product. I see the speakers fit into the helmet foam. I prefer to wear earplugs when I ride. Do you have a isolating earbud option?

I'm with bob.  Give me a earbud option.  The only other option is the sena system.

Hey guys, we do not have an ear bud option. The speakers have to go in a pocket or cut out.
The thing about the speaker is that the microphone is actually built into the speakers which eliminates the need for a boom mic.
Also the speaker set uses beaming technology to create a virtual cone around the user's mouth which picks up on the user's voice while suppressing engine noise, wind noise ect...

Those are good suggestions for future products. I will look into that with our engineers.

Thanks Andy. Because of the hearing damage that wind roar in the helmet causes, I won't ride without my earplugs. Let us know if you find a solution.

FiremanBob,
The Shark RSR2 is sick helmet, if you use earplugs, I'm not sure if we have a solution for you right now. But I will follow up on that.

frenchman,

Do you work for the Pace?

Right now you can buy our product through a number of online outlets, including the Amazon store,

FYI, probably 75+% of the folks on this site use earplugs.

GTS_Rider, Thanks for the tip, I've talked to some people who wear earplugs and still use helmet communicators but, of course, that's personal.

frenchman, I checked out The Pace, pretty interesting, I noticed there were some questions about doing a segment on motorcycle communications, good timing?  Wink

Frenchmen,
Ok I have started a bad habit of listening to the podcast while riding for  an hour anyway.
Kinda like one legged bench racing... or arguing with a woman, I never get to say my piece!

Interesting perspectives on most things, some I agree, some I do not, but I seldom find a knowledgeable enthusiast in my circle... I seem to be surrounded with people that think they know a lot but truly don't know jack.

Hey, Andy, I looked at your website, and am not clear on a couple of things-

What helmets will it work with?

Can it handle simultaneous inputs from a radar detector, a phone, GPS, stereo and a two way radio ?

How many devices can share the microphone and speakers at a time, and how is priority determined?

What provisions are there to charge the battery while the unit is in use?

What is the guaranteed life of the unit?

Thanks,
LeftBase
