Great pics! Thanks for sharing them. I envy your off road ability. I ride a C-14 and she doesn't do well off road, don't ask me how I know...

Thanks. Pay sucks but the commute is decent. Wink

Yesterday I took the afternoon to ride back and forth between the VA & WV state line - Always peaceful, sometimes eventful... but that's another story. Smile

Are you riding on the ice or is there a boat in the parking lot?

Where?

Took a last minute ride to Cheat Mountain, WV today (One of my favorites, and go to ride). The weather was just short of phenomenal leaving the Westmoreland County, PA area. Traffic was light through the Laurel Highlands making it an exceptional ride down. Took the back roads through Bear Rocks, to 381 through Ohiopyle State Park.

Quick note, 381 North towards Route 40 had some weird road conditions, like there was perfectly laid out tar snakes in order to prevent sport riders from confidently taking corners too fast, there was the same condition on the other side of 381 past Route 40.

http://i303.photobucket.com/albums/nn124/xbudducati/WP_20150802_13_49_17_Pro.jpg

Road conditions were rough and patchy all the way to route 26 in Bruceton Mills, WV. Followed 26 all the way to Route 50, then took route 50 up to the top of Cheat Mountain. At the top I turned around and started heading back. Word of caution, Route 50 heading up, and on Cheat Mountain is some severely rough pavement, I would proceed with caution up the mountain for the first time this year, until you figure out where the rough patches are at. A few would rattle your teeth.

From there I started heading back, stopped at Cool Springs for a break, and Fuel.

http://i303.photobucket.com/albums/nn124/xbudducati/WP_20160417_12_53_00_Pro.jpg

At this point the traffic (Feet Forward Gang) was getting heavier as I headed back, so I went back the same way I came in order to avoid the heavily traveled routes. All in all, it was a good riding day, feels good to get back out there and start leading up to doing some full day rides.

Yesterday

After breakfast,

http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee34/02TAC/Mobile%20Uploads/image_118.jpeg

a ride up to Wilmingtonoshit ( hate cities  )for two tag tag grabs.

http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee34/02TAC/Mobile%20Uploads/image_119.jpeg

http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee34/02TAC/Mobile%20Uploads/image_120.jpeg

Then off to watch my Nephew play ball. His team won!

http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee34/02TAC/02TAC006/DSCF3255.jpg

Followed this up with a ride over to Revzilla via back roads to 95 south of Philly.

http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee34/02TAC/02TAC006/DSCF3262.jpg

http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee34/02TAC/02TAC006/DSCF3263.jpg

NOTE, call Revzilla before you go there to see if that actually have ANYTHING you are interested in. As I understand it, the old location (no idea when they moved) was part of the warehouse and just about everything was available. NOT SO with their cheesy ass boutique store  Thumbsdown. Went up there with a list of five jackets I wanted to check out; they had exactly one of the ones I was looking for. The ever so helpful young lady that was assisting me did say, about a dozen times, that I could simply order what I wanted on line to check out and then send them back at $8 shipping each. That and tried to sell me a $900 jacket that was nothing like I was looking for .

http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee34/02TAC/02TAC006/DSCF3264.jpg

On the way to revzilla, I saw an accident just north of exit 5 on 95. This allowed me, on the way home, to get an imprompto self guided (actually partially GPS guided ) tour of Philly as the accident had things backed up to north of exit 10. Kind of interesting as it took me through places I probably had no business being.

Decided to roll by Powersports East (minuscule gear selection) and Cycle Gear ( better selection, but not sure if I want a Bilt jacket as teh only one that was close to what I wanted is over $300  Crazy ) while I was up that way. Parking in Cycle Gear's lot, I noticed the ole girl had turned 85,000 miles.   Bigsmile

http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee34/02TAC/02TAC006/DSCF3265.jpg

Then, on Route 1 just passed Odessa there was a big ole traffic jam  . Luckily, the "official access only" gate was open and allowed me (and a bunch of other people) to depart the highway and take 13 down. Not sure where the problem was, but the next exit is 6 miles from where I got off and there were no vehicles in the south bound lanes when I passed it.
