More people? Easy - Snell.

The only people "over the edge" on Iraq are those who get beat over the head for trying to defend Bush. People like...you. Bigsmile

I voted Iraq since we've had more than a couple of ditto heads leave in a huff because they couldn't take the logic beat downs anymore.

But......

I would have to say the Where Do You Hide Your Stash thread, and thus marijuana, is the topic that has put the most STNers over the edge. Oh how wish it hadn't been lost.......  Inlove

Nahh, people don't really get all up in arms on ATGATT compard to other topics.  Hey, it's just us 1%'ers who believe that leather saves lives who really piss in the cherios.

Now, ABS, THAT'S gonna get some ire!

Or the legendary RC45 vs. Everyone else (go get em Larry!)

Oh man, and let's not forget "what oil is best"!

Nahhh, ATGATT is for beginners!

Iraq! Hands down!

I know that anything anyone ever has to say on any web forum is not going to change one bit how I personally feel about the war. As well if I do have some idea that I feel needs to be expressed I am not going to do it on a web forum political or otherwise. I feel there are much more appropriate and effective ways of getting your message out about political issues than on any website, epically one not centered around politics.

I though when I ignored the PO forum that all would be well, and it was for a time, until the iRack thread. I know if you donít like it donít click on it and the ignore forum makes that even easier. So I wasnít all up in arms about it.

The Snell debate, the oil debate, the 600cc for beginner debate, the ATGATT debate, helmet laws, tiered licensing, etc all of it although sometimes it boils down to a trivial pointless argument is at least related to motorcycles.

Certainly not those two.
However start a topic on carrying a handgun while touring or counter steering or maybe Iron Butt rides and that will be an absolute lighting rod.

Sheeeeit, the stash thread had something like twenty or thirty pages, IIRC. Several members quit over it. Even UFO himself got worked up in that one. Oh man, it was soooooo freaking funny. Lmao Classic case of neenernetus emotionatus infantus.

Can there ever be another where do you stash your weed post or do the current rules disallow that?  Headscratch

Neal does NOT like pot or pot talk. I think it would get closed pretty quickly. But you're more than welcome to try it out.

The weed thread couldn't be broght back properly as many of the participants quit the forum after that one.

Makes me think of a scene from a loony toon where someone innocently lights a match in a dark room to find they are surrounded by barrels of TNT and dynamite.

It would almost be worth manually examining what is left of the origninal STN database tables to try a reconstruction just to get it back.
