My Concours has a cigarette lighter style port that I normally us to power my GPS. The other day I rigged up my Sirius radio using it's car kit, which also uses that type of adapter. Now I want to power both devices- does anyone have any experience with the different brands of Y cords or even the ones that have a couple lighter ports along with USB? It'd be nice to be able to charge my iphone from a USB port as well as have the Sirius and GPS going.

I use them all the time. I got a cheap one with a USB plug that gets swapped between my tank bag and work truck. They work great.

Why not hard wire them?  If you use that port on the C14 the inside will rust pretty quickly.

Hard wire is a possibility, I'd need to get an extra cable for both the GPS and the satellite radio so I have the originals if I want to use them in the van. I got a 2 port adapter at the auto parts store and it did just fine on a 10 day trip. Just bagged it up in the rain and kept on riding.

I was going to suggest the same thing.

I have a couple of solutions for this at www.Farklebar.com
I don't have it on the website yet but I have a hard wire that splits into two USBs
Also I have a SAE to USB Module on the Website.

Thanks,

Douglas
