Fall color outing to Oregon's Coast Range

Near record high temps last week required a day of Coast Range colors inspection, morning clouds were supposed to yield to sunshine later in the day. My basic plan was to eyeball a patch of non-green type foliage and head in that general direction on whatever road presented itself.
If things got too risky for solo wandering I would just abort and head for the barn, happy to have put on a few miles in Nov, typically a crappy month for two-wheeling.
Very impressive. The cloudy part of the forecast was spot on.
Kudos to the weather man, a glorious day of picture taking and general lolly-gagging with almost no contact with other humans. The wet, leafy, paved roads were far scarier than the mud, but the dual sport treads and 24 hp kept things tracking.

Very nice photos. The fall colors mixed with the green from the pines really makes the colors pop. Good stuff!

Yay sunshine and the accompanying warmth, even had to open all the vents in my riding gear. A very nice change from the normal Nov. wind and rain.

Thanks, having a good time fiddling with new camera and editing software. Mostly try to make a pic resemble what it looked like while standing there, but it's easy to go overboard, but that's fun too
