Not sure what's funnier, Harley fans who won't accept anything that's not an air cooled V-twin cruiser or bagger styled like its 1950 or Honda fans not accepting anything that's not a Goldwing, a UJM styled bike or a sport bike.

And here's the demographic on the bike.
Sweet. A leather vest and sneakers.
Of course he probably drove to the IMS. He just wore his vest to impress the granny's hanging by the juice bar in the lobby.

I rode both a new Goldwing and new Streetglide in 2010. The Goldthings seating position had me really crammed onto the bike. The Harley was nice and relaxed. Both look good. Both are respectable rides providing a completely differant take on touring. To each their own, but I would prefer the Harley and I am usually biased towards Honda (yes I know I am retarded
)
I would agree with you, but them I'm retarded too

the above opinion is simply that of an average middle aged hick with one too many brain injuries... or, don't take it too serious.

I like it too. Fuck the haters +1.
Best looking "cruiser style" bike I've seen in years.
At least it's not a Harley "wanna-be/rip-off" design as has been the design standard for umpteen years now.
I'll bet it's sweet on the slab too.

Or it says PROSPECT on the back and he has to wear it everywhere.
(I doubt it but it could)

I went to an IMS show last winter, it was the biggest pirate fest I've ever seen outside of actual rallies. People arriving in full pirate regalia, dew rags, leather jackets/vest, chaps. Like they all rode there. The problem was it was snowy/rainy and there was ONE bike in the parking lot, a BMW GS type thing.

I think we all know the outfits don't reflect the riding. And having been on my 800lb behemoth Harley in snow, I'll never - NEVER - do something so stupid again. I'd say they were the smart ones.

Let's face it the whiners and haters won't buy anything new or even used of any make. They probably don't have bikes, or even know how to ride, they just like to whine and complain about shit because they are broke assed bitches.
Agree this new Gold Wing cruiser is a brilliant idea, I've tried the V-twin cruiser thing and it sucked. Lumpy dumpy and slow. HD freaks would literally not speak at fuel stops if ya weren't part of their loud ass mindless heard.
Most unbelieveable are the clowns whinig about how old the Honda's power plant design is and praising how great those 30K H-D's are. Now that shit is funny.

First IMS New York I attended was the same thing, vendor wise. 90% of the vendors were there with totally useless pirate shit and cheap leather jackets, chaps, doo-rags, pins, vest chains, boot tip decorations, stickers yada yada. I think about each and every one of them had the same fluorescent orange and green "CAN YOU SEE ME NOW, ASSHOLE?" t-shirts on display that seemed to be very popular items.
I was totally disappointed with the amount of nice vendor stands with gear that we actually use. The Ducati booth did have a disco-ball-DJ in the corner with 2 turntables and a microphone, the sales staff; pointy shoes and
spikey/rooster haircuts.

I recently went to the Long Beach IMS show. I didn't see much of the pirate crowd or booths. Overall, it was a great time and saw tons of great bikes both in the parking lot and at the show. Their Facebook feed isn't all too bad either. I'll definitely go again.
What did crack me up was Ducati's espresso bar.
Anyway - sat on an F6B at the show. I am a little surprised at how little leg room there is on it (as with the standard wing), but a really nice machine otherwise. I'd easily choose this over an ST13, neither of which I'm probably going to buy.

The engine configuration leaves little room for moving the feet around. It's been my experience that you're either a Goldwing ergos guy or you're not. There's not much to do if you're not.
