Sad   Can't even join the cage contingent?

Not worth it to leave the baby for three days unless I'm really getting something (good riding) out of it.

OK, kids, I'm officially out for this weekend.   Sad  I had a great ride today but doing just 120 miles in mild weather did me in; doing 300-400 miles in triple digit weather would be risking too much.  Have fun and I'll catch y'alls next year.   Bigok

Well, I think I'm going to have to follow BP's lead... I've been checking the weather and the temperature keeps going up and right now it's at 105 degrees... I don't do so hot (pun intended) in that kind of heat given 75% of my legs are grafted and I have no sweat glands anymore so extreme heat is a bit more of an issue for me... I'm really sorry to not be there this time but hope to catch y'all on another one. Be safe and hydrate!!  Cool

The triple digit temps are in the valley, Redding and Red Bluff. Weaverville might see very high 90s during the afternoon but cool to 60s overnight. The coast will be lucky to see mid 70s if the fog clears.

In keeping with WCRM tradition rain showers are predicted as a possibility for Sunday.

Not according to Accuweather which I have found to be spot on every time.

Dang! It's not unknown, but that is a hot one. I'm not going to look up Redding, just add 4 or 5 or 10 degrees.

This is the hottest place on earth. Mr Smooth says so.

FTFY.  I'm going to post up a coastal escape loop in the "Rides around Weaverville" thread, tomorrow morning, for those of you who are feeling like you're gonna wilt.

I'm starting to question the point/wisdom in driving up in a car, when I'm not working and really don't have the extra cash to do this right now.  Sad

I'm going to think on it a bit more. Leaning toward bowing out and waiting until I'm (1) working, and (2) have a functioning motorcycle.

Dang - either it rains and/or snows or it's a boiling cauldron.  Lol We just came up 395 and are currently at the Lake View Lodge watching dusk fall. Great dinner at the Whoa Nellie Deli and drinking Stone's Levitation Ale.  Thumbsup

Sorry to hear Tyler and Poof won't be able to make it.  Sad I was looking forward to meeting Poof and renew acquaintance with Tyler. *hugs* to you both. Mike - I hope you make it but I'll never know what you decide unless you do or don't show up!  Lol

Tomorrow it's Sonora Pass and the 'fire-breathing' Lil Dragon - then staying off the beaten path until we get to Oroville. Where the roasting will begin..... parboiled viffergyrl and M.Brane.  Crazy

I'll be heading north on the little dragon sometime tomorrow afternoon. I'll   if I see you. I'm sleeping tomorrow night in Sonora.

The bike is packed. A couple hours of work-from-home stuff in the morning and then I hit the road.   Banana

See you Sat Endo ....

Hot here in Grants Pass. Wish I did not take off my lower fairing ... I see online that this brings heat to the legs. Yes it does. No complaints though I love riding down here.
