Here's a link to the entire album

The show was BIG! Bigger than any I've been to (IMS Seattle and IMS New York). There were three levels of displays, each one about the size of the last Seattle show I'd be too (2004?). The first two levels were primarily manufacturer displays interspersed with some accessory booths. It was a good showing of bikes, that's for sure  Smile  The third level was the "Custom Corner" (ie, chopper shop heaven  Crazy ) and leather wear  Rolleyes  The other side of Level 3 was all about authentic older racing bikes and sidecars. All-in-all, it was a good show.

I'll let you guys sort out what the hell you're looking at. I honestly suck at knowing what bike is what, and what is Euro-spec vs US-spec. It was difficult to get most of the shots as there were a lot of people and the lighting wasn't always very good. That being said, enjoy the show  Bigok

There was a request for the Triumph Trophy:

I hope that's what you wanted!

This is the main entrance way. Two levels up and one level down, for your viewing pleasure  Bigsmile

I don't think I've ever seen a trials bike at a show before!

We found a Poof-sized bike!  Bigok

Not to my taste, but whatever...  Embarassment

Isle of Mann history

It was a family affair!  Most of the people at the show were guys (an overwhelming number, actually) compared to the shows I've been to in the States, but there were a few kids crawling around on the bikes, too. And I saw two (two!) women sitting on bikes. I was amazed  Rolleyes

We found the Touratech booth  Inlove

Rollie of the future!

Husaberg - pure Swedish enduro fun!

Really nice bike. My local dealer got one in last week. I have not had a chance to ride it, but the little bit of time I spent sitting on it in the show room has caused me to think about buying one, but only get the more costly SE version here in the states.  Given the $$ difference, I will probably go with an FJR instead.

Limited edition Italian bikes. The 500 (out of sight to the left) is so limited, he said that 20 of them would leave the factory this year

Lots of independent manufactures were there. These guys made some sort of electrical contraption  Crazy

Zero was there from California

European model that you can't possibly get  Razz

Bikes outside the show. There weren't many, but it's early in the season and it was snowing that day

Plate from the above bike

And then we went to Tesla!

We'll be going back in a month to see the new Model S  Bigsmile  (all they had in stock were a couple of used Roadsters)

We're giving some serious thought about attending the Geneva Auto Show in March - a very big one with lots of concept cars.  Mclaren will be unveiling their plugin hybrid supercar!

The first motorcycle ride I ever took was in my great uncle's Indian side hack. I was maybe 5.

It felt fine. The seat was comfy (but then they are all if you're only on them for two minutes  Bigsmile ) and the reach to the bars was good. Leg room wasn't a problem at all and seemed to be a very natural, comfortable position for me.

European model that you can't possibly get  Razz

That sounds like a challenge!

The "getting" is easy; it's the "keeping" that's problematic... Embarassment

You looked quite "at home" on that Trophy.

Three levels!
It shows how deep, and vibrant the EuroMoto market is compared to the "toy in the garage" reality here.  Sad

You.
Seems to be our reaction too.  Lol

The sun finally came out but I've been hit with the Cold From Hell, so can only enjoy it from the comfort of my couch. But I have noticed a few different bikes in the past week...

This beast lives around the corner from us:

Note the cute little ducky

Jawa (it would have been nice not to have so many bicycles around it)
