...or at least Basel. In the winter.

Dan said to me "You should be taking pictures of the motorcycles for the guys on STN". Sure, I can do that. Trouble is, the bikes that I'm seeing aren't all that interesting. But I'll toss up a couple of pictures here, and maybe they'll get better once the snow goes away and it gets above freezing  Crazy

This is a typical bike I see parked around here. Not terribly interesting...

But every once in a while I see something different...

Oh, and before you think "wow! Those are some hard-core riders!" I haven't seen one of these bikes move in the last five days. The only exception is the bike that's being ridden down the road  Embarassment

the above opinion is simply that of an average middle aged hick with one too many brain injuries... or, don't take it too serious.

I was in Paris in Dec 2010. They had a pretty heavy snow that stayed for the week I was there. I was amazed how many people commuted via scooter and moto in the slush and snow.

The taxi driver(he'd been driving a taxi in Paris for 20+ years) who took us to the train station said they were all crazy.

Maico?  I can't believe they allow two strokes to be licensed anymore.

How are you going to feel with that big blue L on the back of your next ride?

It's Switzerland. Is there crime in Switzerland? Smile

(It seems that the British love affair with the top box continues in Switzerland too. Every time I walk around London and find a bike park, 70%+ of the bikes have said top box)

The Honda dealer is far too close for you to be bikeless for long.  When I saw the pic of how close, I thought "nothing good can come of this"  Wink

I was referring to the blue "L", not a bike  Razz
