Sorry for the extremely short notice.  My schedule suddenly opened up.

Anyone interested in a Fast 400 this Saturday, 4/13?

Sure! I assume you know where the Shell station at Foothill/Angeles Crest 2 is? 8-8:15 is the meet time.  Bigsmile

Just got home. Whew! Damn traffic on the 405 freeway. Had to do a "GTS RIDER" style lane splitting!

Thanks all for showing. Great ride! Lost Mark while splitting lanes for miles @ miles.

J:  You're a hard guy follow while lane splitting--that Buell squeezes thru spaces my bicycle wouldn't fit!  A:  I'll bet your grin was twice as big after the return run on Cerro Noroeste!  C:  I probably would have bought it in that sandy left twistie on Pine Canyon Rd if I wasn't following your lead!   Great ride all!  Thanks! Some Prius tried to squeeze me and I ended up hitting his mirrors.   Lol  No harm done.  Not on my bike anyway.  Heheh.

What, no video?  Dammit!  Lol

405 South over Sepulveda pass is still a pretty tight squeeze, though it's easy after Sunset or so. The North bound car-pool lane was originally slated to be completed Spring 2013. I wonder when they'll finally finish it. Should be pretty sweet (for motorcyclists) both directions when they finally finish and re-align/widen the lanes back to normal width. I don't see it making a very big difference in commute times for cagers. We'll see...

My quads were a bit sore this morning. You guys made me work to stay ahead of you. I was glad to be on the tight line through that left hander too. Anybody counting on a wide exit through that one would have been dirt-trackin' it at best. Pine Cyn is a lot like Lockwood Valley in that regard: the dirty spots are never quite the same.

I never had time to take out the Camera much.  Was too busy chasing MBrane.  LOL!

That 405 sure is narrow!

At one point I caught up to a guy on a KLR 650 with aluminum hard bags on and he was lane splitting pretty good.  But man!  He got REALLY close to cagers on a few occassions with those bags!  Made me nervous just watching him!
