Tough call.  Votes 3 to 2 (or 7/5) in favor of Comfort Inn, but I like the idea of having the Capra Inn to ourselves.

Capra Inn! Capra Inn! Capra Inn! (And actually, I don't think I voted...so there---it's a tie!)  Smile

C'mon---when you look at them both, the Capra Inn just LOOKS like the kind of place where we'd have a meet! So it costs a few more bucks---c'mon! It's ESTN!

I Didn't make it in time before the closed vote... but I would vote for Capra/Hancock Area as well..
Hancock is a good jumping off place in any direction for good street and dual sport roads.. (is there a difference?)
Like Sammy said, the PA side is full of good dirt roads, and its only a short jaunt on the NY side to RT 30 into the reservoir and some superior sweepers all the way to        Margaretville and into the Catskills.
Or a little west of Hancock is Rt10 going North paralleling 30 20 miles to the west.. Good area!

Considering the attendance poll numbers, it may be desirable to repost or reopen the lodging options poll.

Here's some info about restaurants:

Based on attendance poll numbers, I'd say we are looking at a small to moderate turnout.  I know a couple of regulars have already told me they can't make it.  And thank CableBandit for his sage advice.  Considering everything, restaurants, location, cost, etc., I think the Capra may be the best choice.

If we run short on rooms, there's always Bass Hancock House (within walking distance but more expensive) and Smiths Colonial Motel (a short 2 mile ride and in the same price range).

I suspect turnout will be smaller than last year, more like ESTN Marietta OH, probably due to the riding area.
