Searched and I didn't see a dedicated Hyperstrada thread. Is it just me or does he not seem super enthused?

You didn't have to search, you just had to look two threads down

Agreed, the whole seating arrangement pushed me too far forward.

My son bought a 13 Hyperstrada and it's great fun to ride. He came off of an 07 Ninja 650R and the Strada is better in every way. It's uber flickable, has fantastic brakes, is comfortable for the rider on the highway as well as two up, has a great engine, is smooth, well put together, is light, and IMHO is good to look at. His wife even says the passenger accomodations are good. He says the wind protection is good enough and that the larger touring screen is not necessary.

His Niggles:

1. Saddlebags are not waterproof and the dry bag liners reduce packing space.
2. Fuel tank is a half a gallon too small. (but then again so is the tank on my 13 MTS, and every other recent Duc I can think of)

So far, he absolutely loves the HPS.

Finally got to put hands on one of these at Ducpond in Winchester.  This might be the perfect bike for me.  Test ride pending...

After 14 seasons on ST2's, I bought a 2013 Hyperstrada at the end of July 2013.  I have now logged about 21,000 trouble free kilometers and am now in the middle of my 4th multiday road trip.(currently near ORofino, Idaho, about to head over the Lolo Pass and south to Stanley).

I have done several 400mile plus days on her and for me, at least, the Strada is just as comfortable touring as my old ST's.  The more upright riding position took a little getting used to but in the end I find it comfortable.   I have the factory heated grips, the "touring"windshield, and luggage rack with my old Givi V46 fitted.   Sometime in the next year I may get a little work done on the seat but being a bit inseam challenged(30") it will only be tweaking cause I can't afford to be any further from the ground.

I love how quickly she turns in and the 821 is a great motor with plenty of grunt for my riding style.

My current ride has turned 20.  Perhaps this is the sexy new model I can replace it with?  Inlove
