Scratch: Wellsboro is bike-friendly and has a good diner or two. Not much there apart from some nice riding.  Thumbsup

That's the one. I haven't been there in a few years...

If you head up that way, try and do 144 from State College all the way up through the Nat'l Forest.  Thumbsup  That is, if you're looking for the curviest road from A to B. There are several other nice roads in the area.

How is 144's pavement as of late?  It got kinda gnarly with all the freakin' frackin'.

Now you got me trying to remember when I last was there. I think it's been 5 years!

Better to ask some of the gurus in the Region 6 forum...

Mostly all new pavement.  It's like a racetrack now for the most part.

I have my route to Hancock planned and loaded in to the GPS. The packing list has been updated and I just cleared my meetings for Thursday and Friday. I just need to pack and do a little last minute maintenance.

Is it Thursday yet?

Haven't packed or planned yet. Gonna put the trunk back on the GS tomorrow so I can carry beer & ice. Might stop somewhere for a growler. Looks like rain Saturday.

I have to get my bike back in one piece tonight. Better stop surfing the web and start wrenching!

EDIT: It lives! Time to finish up my ESTN routes and load the GPS.

+1   And patch a crack in the driveway so the contractor can seal coat it while I'm gone.

Got called for jury duty tomorrow.  No worry; I won't get selected.  I plan on telling the judge that if the ["f'ing"] cops arrested him, he must have done something wrong.  Maybe not what he got arrested for, but that doesn't mean he doesn't deserve to be punished for something; if not just for making me be there...

I skipped the "honey dos" and went on a little 140 mi. ride before work. Gotta make sure everything's working fine.

I reported for jury duty a couple of years ago for a trial starting  four days before the beginning of an annual vx800 pilgrimage. They mentioned before picking the jury that the trial would last "two or three days." So, when I was interviewed by the judge and attorneys I told them that I'd be happy to serve if picked but I hoped the trial would end in time to let me do my religious duty at the weekend for an event that had been planned for over a year. I got a pass...and the trial did run into the next week Lol true story.

No more rooms.  It looks like I will be staying at the Guestwardho campground.  It is about 15 miles away, $10/night 2 night min.
